Earlier in the year, I was randomly researching Scientology and its loopiness, and it gave me strange ideas. I'm considering creating an RPG on one of these two concepts:
1. The Evil Lord Xenu is subjugating peoples! Oh noes! Set either before humanity, when he did the genocide of the aliens with hydrogen bombs at volcanoes, or in present day, when he escapes from his prison (in a cave, in a mountain, with a forcefield powered by an eternal battery). Premise: surviving.
2. Everybody plays as an evil megabeing (e.g. Satan) from any religion. Setting is open at the moment, but I'm thinking placing them in a really unlikely situation together at the moment, like putting them all in high school or something equally stupid/fucked up. If we do this instead, I call dibs on Xenu.
Thoughts? Comments? Anyone even still alive? If you are alive, would you play one of these?

Ooo, I don't know what one sounds more fun.
So, does megabeing equal god, does it equal some creature that could rival a god, or what?

Ehhh.... I'm going to think that it could be a god, or it could just be a really strong antagonist in the mythology. I mean, Xenu isn't a god; he's just some alien overlord that decided to fry a bunch of people due to overpopulation. But he's the "big evil" in the things that LR Hubbard (crazy fuck) wrote.

Am I the only other person interested in these ideas?
