Welcome to the longest intro you will probably ever see. Now before you scroll down and decide that it would be best to simply skip it for the survival of your sanity I would like to say a few words that may actually be worth reading in the sense of an Intro type post. Dun worry though I will keep it shorter then the rest of the post though how much this is actually saying is still to be determined. You see this intro has sort of followed me around the intar-webs since i really started doing this type of thing, and so while it looks long the entirety of it has been written of the course of several forums and many many months, much of what is contained within it is satirical rants about that which can be called internet culture and very little has much of anything to do with me...... to be quite honest there isn't much to know about me other then I am here for however long it takes for me to wander off again.
Now before you stop reading because you have already scrolled down a bit just to see if I could actually mean what I say... yes it is long but guess what I took the time to write it so you might as well take the time to read it ALL especially the bits between the beginning and the end... a section I have found is usually skipped. Believe me it all makes more sense when you read that little part in the middle there... at least I think it does.
And now that the intro to the intro is basically done I will not delay you further with pointless and time wasting statements about getting on to the main bit of the intro, that would be both cruel and unusual.... on the contrary I will simple get it over with in a timely manner unhindered by the pointless transition sentences turned into transition paragraphs due to the twisted ideas of a quite insane being.... or will I....
Well regardless here it is:
Where to begin……where to be begin…… well I guess the obvious is the basics, my name is An Abstract Thought, which should be rather obvious, my real name is…… MINE, you can’t have it…… it is my precious!!!!!! I have no age seeing as time is relative…… and merely describes the theoretical distance between 2 separate events and so while I may have a certain number of years for me to give my physical age in the terms of an abstract idea is rather illogical when you think about it in the bigger picture. And so my forum age is, as you may have guessed, bogus.
I am a fan of RPs not threads full on spam about an RP like topic but RPs. And before you ask yes there is a difference, an RP has legitimate plot lines and developed characters, posts have adequate description, and there is a traceable thread of concepts and ideas that drive the overall plot that being said most ATTEMPTS at RPs fall quite short of the mark, most have partial constructed plots with unusually bland characters. Most consist of thoughts and plot twists that you would expect from a 5th grader and thusly most inevitably flop, or at least enter a state of truly annoying redundancy…… I find these “RPs” insults to the idea of a role play and attribute the overall lack of interest in a Role Play to them. To create and adequate RP one must put forth a semblance of effort and at least a microscopic amount of higher level thinking while creating the lead in post and a decent effort in developing each characters personality… once this has been done then and only then can you honestly call it an RP, not even a ‘good’ RP but a true RP.
I also enjoy ranting about both pertinent topics and completely random issues. And I have a proclivity towards making these rants quite long by most standards. You may now be wondering how to tell if I actually care about my current topic for ranting or if it is a “pleasure” rant. The differences should become obvious once I have had the opportunity to do both types; however, here are a few of the major differences. First a “pleasure” rant will be shorter overall and semi-humorous to read, the posts will be no more then a few paragraphs (if that much) and in total it will last only a short series of posts per topic, a “pleasure” rant will also change topics on what may seem like a whim (this ‘whim’ merely being part of the complex processes of my brain which I can only describe as uncontrolled chaos, coupled with an overall mind set that walks that invisible line between genius and insanity………… I prefer to call my self eccentric however I have been informed on several occasions that one must have a certain amount of extra money to be eccentric, everyone else is merely insane). While a “true” rant will be in general much longer, consisting of a few massive posts and usually lasting an excessive number of posts, these rants will be much more serious in tone and much more forceful, and they will usually remained focused one a single concept of idea that I find incorrect or annoying…… topic changes will remain singularly focused on that central idea the underlying thought process will be much easier to follow. Most often my rants will remain happily in the realm of pleasure ranting seeing as I do not plan to have any major issues with the forums (seeing as I am joining them of my own free will).
Now I guess it would be appropriate to list off a few of the things that really get under my skin. The first and biggest would have to be a nOOb; not a newb but a nOOb, there is a difference. A newb is merely a newbie who is honestly trying to do the right things and bug people as little as possible but is also a person who has a tendency to ask redundantly stupid or obvious questions because they have no prior knowledge of the concepts being used or are new in general to that particular area of the web. A nOOb however is much worse. A nOOb is a person who, like a newb has no idea of what is going on and who in general has no talent for the specific field of online activities, but who has a preconceived notion that they are god’s gift to the internet and are UBER at everything. These are the people who will openly try to tell you that you are wrong even when you are not, they will boast about their “amazing” accomplishments, which in reality are not really that special, and when you burst their little of bubble of sunshine and introduce them to this little space rock we call earth they are reduced to mindless cursing and incoherent whining. NOObs that have been woken up in this manner are usually the cause of the sappier edrama that you find on the web.
This brings me to the next thing that really bugs me -- edrama -- not the planned stuff that is humorous to read but the crap that resembles the failed soaps on TV. Usually a combination of petty whining and overly dramatized pouting edrama is the bane of all forums and chat rooms. It is a ploy used solely for the purpose of gaining attention and garnering sympathy, yet it usually only increase the overall dislike of the person and creates awkward situations where veteran members do not wish the cause further turmoil on the forum by responding with honesty, instead to avoid hurting the persons feelings they do their best to fake empathy for the person. This gives rise to the common misconception that humanity as a whole gives a darn about much of anything any one individual may find unfair…… guess what… life as a rule is unfair, it sucks coming and going and is full of egocentric bastards who could careless. And that misconception only serves to prolong the edrama to an almost intolerable length, because the nOOb responsible for it discovers that if they act pathetic enough they will find sympathy and thusly the attention that they so desire. It is my belief that this leads to the decline of a perfectly good forum and should be dealt with honestly… you do not want false sympathy from people in real life so why would you give it to people online…… point out the stupidity of the argument and leave…… let them argue and whine and pout to the silence of the internet…… or better yet introduce them to the harsh reality of life…
Another issue I find incredibly annoying is mindless threads whose very title screams SPAM IN ME. What is the purpose to these threads, is the goal to raise your post count so you can have a cooler rank title…… or do you honestly not see the stupidity of the topic…… threads like where do you live and what are your nicknames fall into this category, seeing as if the person really wanted to reveal this information they would add it to their profile or put it in their introduction post, however I inevitably find at least one such thread on every forum, and what is even more distressing is that they are more often the not created by the forum admins…… which only serves to make them even more pointless because as an admin you can manually change your rank with much more ease by editing your profile yourself. These threads, when not created by the admin, not only scream SPAM but also clearly labels to worst type of nOOb, a nOOblet, or a person who insists upon asking the most personal questions in as many new threads as possible, these are the people who have the misconception about the world actually caring but are also the people who get the attention that they seek because the attempts at forcing open a place for them within the hierarchy of the forum is so pathetic most people can not help but feel sorry for them. I however do not share this sympathetic view and treat these people the way I would treat them in real life…… I slowly work at their physiological state of mind until I have completely crushed their concept of a caring world…… once this has been accomplished they tend to function better as worth while member of the forum, and the amount of spam tends to decrease as a result. This may seem overly harsh but in the end it can be much nicer then lying to them about your actual view until they reach the point where you can no longer tolerate them, and then beginning the process of waking them up, ask yourself would you rather be let down early and have them be honest from the start, or would you prefer to be spun along with the false idea that they actually care only to find out that it was all an act to let you down “easy” and have the same rude awakening.
And now for a bit about me in general. I see the world as an unending cycle of repeated chaos, the systems that run our life are ill thought out and badly managed, those who deserve more in life are forced to the bottom because they usually do not have the cushion of money, while those who would be doing the world a favor by removing themselves from the gene pool are vaulted to the top of each society because they usually do have that cushion of money. I see normality as the illusion that it is, created by the few to define the many. Sanity is also a mere illusion for it is first seen as insanity until it works out then it is credited to genius, while the most noble of ideas can be resigned to the incoherence of insanity because it does not fit the norm of society. And so I am happily insane in my own unique way claiming to be nothing more then I am and nothing less then what I have already achieved. I enjoy quotes and intellectually stimulating discussions on almost any topic. I am a big fan of debates (not arguments that have been titled debates but honest debates where each view is supported with fact, and each point is defended not attacked). I despise the misuse of sophisticated vocabulary (but have been guilty of this and so can not take too much offense to it). I also dislike most forms of flaming for many make little to no sense and are poorly constructed. If you wish to insult me or my point of view do so with a degree of brilliance so that I can enjoy reading and responding to the attack, do not fill it with petty name-calling but with high level thoughts and well constructed internet sarcasm.
Speaking of internet sarcasm if you have a heard time understanding or locating it, the easiest way is to pay attention to the tone of the speaker (or in this case typer). Not the physical tone of voice seeing as this is the internet and it is impossible the “hear” what someone is typing, but the literary tone of the text, the word choice, and the implied meaning of the words.
Now that all of that is out of the way there are a few other things I feel obliged to write: first if you had difficulty reading and understanding this introduction, then I ask that you stay is school a bit longer seeing as this is nowhere near college level writing, and so it should be easy to follow for most people. Second if you had trouble with the meanings of words I wish you luck in following my future posts on here for this is the way in which I write and I have no intention of changing it for anyone especially if they are unable to understand it. And finally I ask that you READ the entire post before commenting because nothing bothers me more then a post that was made after a brief skimming of a post, because usually these replies have a tendency to be obvious in their ignorance of the ideas and topics discussed in the previous posts and they sever only to annoy those who have read the posts who must now explain the overall idea of the previous post to the lazy forumite. If you do not like reading this much then I can only hope that you are not an active RPer because to have a good RP, posts of this length are almost a must....... lulz.....
As a last little bit of information, my spelling and capitalization are non too good and so I have taken to pre-typing my posts however when I am making a fast response they will be horrendous at the best of times and down right scary at the worst.

Why thank you. I take it you enjoyed the intro rant thing, makes me feel a bit better about writing it all when someone is able to enjoy it.
The site looks nice, the whole concept has me quite intrigued.... hopefully when things slow down in life for me I will be able to get a mite more active on here, but for now I will stay as active as possible.

*HUG*
I would have posted sooner but this was much too pretty. I wish I could could do posts like that but if I start getting near half that my lack in grammatical talents begins to rear it's ugly head.
